Equipping small business owners with the leadership skills to create better jobs,
for themselves and their workers

You started your business with an abundance of passion, hope, and energy. But the reality can often feel very different. Although you imagine this level of stress and chaos is just what it means to be a small business owner, the result is often a workplace culture that compromises the wellbeing and performance of everyone.

The Bounce Forward Program

Bounce Forward is a coaching and experiential leadership program that helps you tap into the creativity, intelligence, and performance of your team, so you don’t bear the burden of leadership alone. In the process, you not only fall in love with your business again, you create opportunities to reimagine the employer/employee relationship and improve job quality.

What you’ll learn:

pressure-gauge

SLOW DOWN TO
SPEED UP

Busyness is not the same as being effective. A series of mindset shifts will help you spend less time putting out fires and more time setting and realizing strategic goals.

Balance

CREATE A TEAM FULL OF LEADERS

Act more like a coach instead of a manager so that employees become more confident and competent at solving problems on their own, preparing them for greater responsibility.

Framework

THRIVE IN
PLACE

Create a business culture where everyone experiences more wellbeing, mastery, purpose, and fun at work.

Building Tomorrow’s Leaders

Bounce Forward was built on the assumption that the creation of high quality jobs must ultimately be a co-creation process between employers and workers. We engaged a group of front-line hospitality workers employed by one of our alumni business owners to help them adopt a growth mindset, develop the confidence to participate as strategic partners, and explore how their current employment can allow them to thrive in place.

One of the employee participants, who was later promoted, shared, “I’ve always been bad about jumping the gun, overthinking things and just immediately reacting, even when I didn’t have to. Now I’m a lot calmer, a lot more patient. I have a new way of dealing with things.”

According to the Census Bureau, 98.1% of employer firms in the U.S. have fewer than 100 employees. With small businesses leading the good jobs movement, we have the opportunity to dramatically expand the middle class in major metropolitan areas and small rural towns alike.

We know all this is possible because collectively we’ve supported countless teams and small businesses to transform how they work together. Our team brings together a brilliant scientist, a savvy business consultant, and a sought after leadership expert who is also a comedian. Together we’ve designed a one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge curriculum that’s been honed over decades of consulting with Fortune 50 organizations like Microsoft and Costco.
